The Mediterranean diet is one of the eco-friendly diets that has been praised for its sustainability for those who want to live a healthy lifestyle. The diet is very plant-based centered but with the addition of seafood, lots of olive oil, and the occasional chicken. However, it limits your consumption of red meat as it should be treated as a delicacy.
I usually start my day with crisp bread that’s loaded with nuts and seeds topped with pesto, avocado and mozzarella. Crisp bread and spicy tuna is also a great combination to die for.
Hidden under all that beautiful feta cheese is cucumber, tomato and bell pepper salad. This is by far my favourite type of salad.
