VJK Vatnajokull is a Eau de Parfum fragrance for men. The fragrance is made with pure glacial water from Vatnajökull and a lava stone from the last eruption is wrapped around the bottle neck.
Vatnajökull is the largest glacier in Europe. Its size is about 8300 square kilometers and underneath its thick layer of ice, several volcanic systems are lying.
On 21 May 2011 an eruption began in Vatnajokull accompanied by multiple earthquakes, resulting in cancellation of 900 flights in Europe. Until 25 May the eruption scale had been larger and more powerful than that of the 2010 eruption of Eyjafjallajökull. "I wanted a name synonymous with strength,·masculinity and power, and seeing as Vatnajokull is the largest glacier in Europe we thought the name fitted perfectly.
