EFJ Eyjafjallajokull by Gydja is a spicy, light and fresh fragrance with hints of citrus, vanilla, roses and bergamot. The perfume is made with pure glacial water from Eyjafjallajökull, and every bottle comes with a small lava stone from the volcano. VJK Vatnajokull by Gydja is a classic, spicy, light and fresh fragrance with hints of citrus, jasmine, white musk and cashmere wood. The perfume is made with pure glacial water from the largest glacier in Europe, Vatnajökull. With every bottle comes a piece of lava from the volcano. The fragrance enables men all over the world to grasp the powerful energy that Vatnajökull holds.

The story behind EFJ Eyjafjallajokull and VJK Vatnajokull

The Icelandic glacier Eyjafjallajökull erupted in 2010 causing chaos in air-traffic throughout the world making it one of the most famous volcano in the world.
The forces of nature had taken control. Then, Sigrun Lilja Gudjonsdottir, Gydja Collection’s head designer, got the idea to make a perfume. "The Icelandic nature has inspired me in all of my work as a designer and entrepreneur. That is why I wanted to make a unique perfume which would enable women around the world to feel the energy that inspires me every day." After the huge success of EFJ Sigrún decided to make a fragrance for men called VJK Vatnajökull which was launched in the end of 2011.
